Can I retrieve my product images from the API for use on my website or application?
Yes. Every upload returns a CDN URL such as https://cdn.filestackcontent.com/HANDLE. Add resize, crop, or format tasks to that URL to serve the exact size and format each page needs.
Is the API secure for storing and transmitting my product images?
Uploads and delivery run over HTTPS. Enabling application security puts a signed, expiring policy on every request, and a domain whitelist controls which sites can load your images.
What image file formats does the Image Upload API support?
Uploads accept any file type, and the picker's accept option limits it to images. Transformations deliver JPG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF output from the same stored original.
Can I customise the size and appearance of the product images?
Yes. Chain tasks in the image URL to resize, crop to exact dimensions, fix orientation from EXIF data, compress, and convert the format. Each variant is generated on request and the original stays unchanged. Image enhancement is available on paid plans.
Is there a cost for using the Image Upload API?
